The cookie you can accept

• pll_language: remembers your language (English or Romanian). It’s set by Polylang, the plugin that runs both language versions of the site. It lasts 1 year and is only set after you click Accept.

What the site stores without asking

These are strictly necessary, so they don’t need consent. Each one only exists after you do something:

• alex_cookie_consent: remembers your answer in the cookie banner (yes or no), so it doesn’t ask on every page. It lasts 6 months and is set when you click Accept or Decline.
• alex-theme (local storage, not a cookie): remembers light or dark mode. It’s only saved when you click the theme switch and stays until you clear your browser data.
• WordPress login cookies (wordpress_logged_in_…, wordpress_sec_…, wp-settings-…): only for the site administrator, while logged in to the dashboard. Visitors never get them.

No tracking

No analytics, advertising or social media cookies. No third-party scripts, fonts or embedded content that could set their own cookies.

Change your mind

You can change your answer at any time. If you decline, the language cookie is deleted. You can also delete cookies in your browser’s settings.
