My Erasmus+ journey

My Erasmus+ journey

I’m applying for a two-week Erasmus+ internship in Barcelos, Portugal, where I’d spend 12 days building websites with WordPress. This page is my plan, and if I’m selected, it becomes my diary.

The project

  • Project: „Stagii de practică pentru un viitor de succes” (Internships for a successful future)
  • Erasmus+ Key Action 1, VET mobility
  • Liceul Teoretic „Spiru Haret”, Moinești
  • Barcelos, Portugal
  • 11–24 July 2027 (12 days of training + 2 travel days)
  • Topic: building websites with WordPress: blogs, presentation sites, online shops, and testing that they work.

Why I’m applying

A real working environment. Everything I know I taught myself. I want to see how websites are built in a real team, with real deadlines and feedback.

English and a new culture. I use English every day with my clients online. Now I want to use it in person, in a country I’ve never lived in.

Skills for a career in development. Games, animation, and software all end up on the web. Learning to build it properly makes everything else I do reach more people.

How I’ll share what I learn

  • A presentation at school: what we built, what worked, and what I’d do differently.
  • A WordPress workshop for classmates: a hands-on session where everyone leaves with a working site.
  • A video recap: an animated recap of the two weeks, because that’s what I do best.
